Bam! We're traveling back in time to Sunday July 13th's Vosberg/Marion pool party in Cottage Grove. Just about everyone is here on Kurt's side of the family in celebration for college kid Nathan's visit from Oregon, back to Wisconsin. Funny thing is that Kurt dropped off Nathan at the airport and is using his car until he returns. Well, everyone is here and the day is hot - perfect for celebrating time with family at the Vosberg/Marion Recreational Center, as Grandpa Tom dubs it.
Rory down the slide.
Cousin Reese clogging the end.
Uncle Tony does the leap from the side onto the small yellow tube inflatable. Cousins Tyler and Nathan, plus Uncle Kory look on...
Aw, cousin Emily (the only girl of 10 grandchildren!!), caught with her eyes closed as she starts to go down the slide.
More family fun in the sun.
Newlyweds Uncle Kevin and Aunie Liz are here too!
Here I am in sundress, after swim, trying to keep the rays off. It is HOT!
Good thing the Vosberg Recreational Center has the best well-stocked drink fridge (a common phenomenon in Wisconsin - a fridge just for drinks, usually found in the garage) in Wisconsin.
Cousin Reese and Rory were supposed to be born on the same day August 15th. Reese was born a month early, so he'll be celebrating a birthday in a week, on July 18th. However, Uncle Kory and Aunt Teresa also just had a birthday on Friday I think. They brought two ice cream cakes, yum. Fun with Grandma!
This day ended up being a travel day for Rory and I. We were departing Madison and headed to Green Bay to visit Marg and family (prior posts).
Here I am, ready to drive, saying goodbye to the crowd. Rock on.
